About this product
This 16 x 4in (400 x 100mm) cement finishing trowel from Marshalltown is designed for concrete and plaster finishing, with the larger blade suited to covering bigger surface areas while retaining control. The blade is cross-ground to hold its shape during intensive use.
The mounting is made from fully heat-treated aluminium alloy, polished and machine-finished for a precise handle-to-post fit. The exclusive Diamond Shank fits into the square hole of the bass wood handle, preventing the handle from turning during use.
The blade is attached to the mounting with properly sized, computer-fitted hardened steel rivets rather than welding, avoiding embrittlement that can cause premature breaking. An extra-large toe rivet reinforces the point of highest stress. The handle is curved wood.
