About this product
This Footprint 256 Brass Back Tenon Saw has a 250mm (10in) blade with a fine 15 teeth per inch configuration, suited to cutting tenon joints and other detailed joinery work where precision matters. The compact blade length makes it well suited to smaller tenon joints. The blade is made from spring alloy steel and can be re-sharpened repeatedly, with teeth precision ground and set for a clean cut. A heavy-duty brass back gives the blade rigidity and support for controlled sawing. The handle is a two-tone lacquered beechwood design of traditional shape, offering comfort and balance, and is fixed to the blade with three brass screws. The saw is made in Sheffield, England.
