The IRWIN® Record® No.5 Mechanics Vice has a 125mm (5in) jaw width, the largest in this range, giving generous capacity for larger workpieces while remaining suited to light to medium-duty applications. The body and sliding jaw are cast from close-grained grey iron, machined on all friction surfaces for smooth, reliable action. Hardened steel jaws can be replaced when worn, and the main screw uses a two-start rolled acme thread for faster, smoother operation.
