About this product
This is a 40mm bi-metal holesaw from Bahco's Sandflex range, suitable for cutting holes in all sawable materials up to 29mm thick. It suits plumbing work such as 40mm waste pipes, electrical cable runs and ventilation openings for ducting or grilles.
It can be used in portable electric or pneumatic tools, as well as drilling, boring and milling machines. The cutting edges are high speed steel for hardness, with welded seams for accurate, clean cuts, and a heat-treated body for strength. The variable pitch blade (4-6 tpi) reduces vibration and improves cutting efficiency.
Supplied in a cardboard box for protection.
