About this product
This Starrett MPH0116 is a 27mm Tungsten Carbide Tipped multi-purpose hole saw designed for fast, heat-free cutting of wood, MDF, plastics, plasterboard and ceramic wall tiles. Its aggressive tooth set gives rapid stock removal, cutting up to five times faster than a bi-metal hole saw, while remaining smooth and durable.
It has a cutting depth of 54mm (2 1/8in), enough to cut through strapping and joists, and a 1/2-20" thread fitting. It works with both mains and battery powered tools, making it suitable for construction, installation work and DIY use.
