About this product
The Makita DLS714N is a sliding compound mitre saw with a 190mm blade, designed to run on two 18v LXT batteries in series to power its brushless 36v motor. This gives performance similar to a mains-powered saw while avoiding the need for a power lead. It is supplied as a bare tool, with no batteries, charger or case included.
Features include a soft start brushless motor, an electric brake, and a handle with an anti-slip elastomer grip. An LED panel shows remaining battery charge and automatic speed control status, and a battery protection circuit guards against over-discharge, overheating and overload.
Specifications: no-load speed 5,700rpm, blade 190 x 20mm bore, max bevel range 45-5°, max mitre range 47-57°, max cutting capacity 52 x 300mm, weight around 13kg. Supplied with material supports, a clamp, dust bag and blade.
