About this product
Compact 125mm side cutting pliers designed for precision work in confined spaces, such as electrical installations, electronics and detailed assembly tasks. Made from high-performance steel with a black anti-corrosion finish, they feature induction-hardened cutting edges at 62 HRC and 2-component handles for a secure, comfortable grip. Progressive cutting edges allow hard materials like piano wire to be cut close to the joint, while softer materials such as copper or plastic-insulated wire can be cut at the tip. The precision screw joint gives smooth operation and accurate edge alignment, and a reduced joint-to-edge distance improves leverage. Round jaws aid access in tight spots. An on/off return spring automatically opens the jaws during use and can be deactivated for storage. Cutting capacity: copper 3.5mm, ferrous wire 1.8mm, piano wire 1.6mm. Weight: 105g.
