About this product
The Bahco 2101G-140 ERGO™ side cutting pliers have an overall length of 140mm, giving a balance of control and cutting leverage suited to electrical, automotive and general maintenance work. They're made from high-performance steel with a black anti-corrosion finish, and the cutting edges are induction hardened to 62 HRC for durability. The 2-component handles combine a thermoplastic surface with polypropylene for a secure grip. Progressive cutting edges allow hard materials such as piano wire to be cut near the joint, while softer materials like copper and plastic-insulated wire are cut at the tip. Round jaws improve access in tight spaces. An on/off return spring automatically opens the jaws after each cut, and can be deactivated for storage or transport. Cutting capacity: copper 3.7mm, Fe+ 2.0mm, piano wire 1.8mm. Weight: 126g.
