About this product
This 160mm diagonal cutter from Knipex is designed for all-round cutting work, including tasks in confined spaces thanks to its narrow head style. The handles are insulated with multi-component grips and VDE-tested to IEC/DIN EN 60900, making the tool safe for use up to 1,000V. The head is forged from vanadium electric steel, multi-stage oil-hardened, and chrome plated. Cutting edges are induction-hardened to approximately 62 HRC, giving clean cuts of soft and hard wire, including thin copper wire right to the cutting-edge tips. Cutting capacities are around 4.0mm for soft wire, roughly 3.0mm for medium-hard wire, and about 2.0mm for hard wire.
