About this product
This 200mm high leverage diagonal cutter from Knipex is designed for tough, continuous use, including cutting piano wire. An integrated forged axle and optimised cutting edge angle and transmission ratio give strong cutting performance with reduced effort compared to conventional diagonal cutters of the same length. The head is made from forged chrome vanadium steel, multi-stage oil-hardened, with precision cutting edges that are additionally induction-hardened to approximately 64 HRC and finished in chrome plate. Handles are insulated with multi-component grips, VDE-tested and conforming to DIN EN/IEC 60900. Cutting capacities are approximately 4.2mm for medium hard wire, 3.0mm for hard wire and 2.5mm for piano wire. Net weight is around 0.308kg.
