This compact wire rope cutter from Knipex is designed for high-strength wire rope up to Ø4.0mm and multi-stranded copper cable up to Ø6.0mm, also suiting aluminium cables and ACSR cable. It suits electricians, riggers and contractors needing a precise, portable cutting tool for daily use.
A patent-pending joint design and integrated opening spring cut effort by up to 30% compared with conventional cutters of the same length, aided by a double-mounted box joint made from ball bearing steel for stability. The cutting edges are induction hardened to approximately 64 HRC for durability. Weighing 172g, it includes a locking device for safe transport and storage.
