About this product
The Stanley FatMax 2-14-564 is a 250mm right-hand cut aviation snip, colour-coded green for easy identification and designed for cutting curves and circles in a clockwise direction. It is suited to HVAC technicians, sheet metal workers and fabricators working with ductwork, flashing and sheet metal, and can also cut aluminium, sheet uPVC, wire mesh, leather, copper and plastic. It cuts up to 18 gauge steel. The blades are forged from chrome-molybdenum alloy steel for strength and durability, with a serrated cutting edge to stop material slipping during use. A high-leverage compound cutting action gives powerful, controlled cuts, aided by adjustment-free fasteners that keep the blades from loosening. A one-handed automatic latch release opens with a squeeze of the handles, and bi-material handles provide a comfortable, slip-resistant grip that reduces hand fatigue during use.
