About this product
These 250mm aviation snips from Stanley are designed for left-hand cutting, making anti-clockwise curves and circles in ductwork, flashing and other sheet metal. The red colour-coding identifies the left-cut function at a glance, making them suited to HVAC installers, sheet metal workers and fabricators.
Constructed from forged alloy steel with a Chrome Molybdenum composition, the snips offer high leverage compound cutting action and can cut up to 18 gauge steel, as well as aluminium, sheet uPVC, wire mesh, leather, copper and plastic. The serrated cutting edge helps prevent material slipping during use.
A one-handed automatic latch releases with a squeeze of the handles, which are bi-material for added comfort and grip during use.
