DeWalt DCM849 18v XR Cordless Brushless Rotary Polisher No Batteries No Battery Charger No Case

The DeWalt DCM849N is a bare-unit 18V XR cordless rotary polisher, supplied without battery, charger or case, aimed at users who already have compatible XR batteries or wish to buy them separately. It uses a brushless motor for consistent performance and run time, with a variable speed dial and trigger giving control over applications such as automotive detailing, headlight, windscreen and glass polishing, marine work and ornamental stonework.

It has a 180mm backing pad with cushioned hook and loop fixing for quick pad changes, a rubber gear case overmould to reduce surface imperfections and improve grip, and can be held via the flat gearcase grip, front grip or side handle. A 90° rotated battery foot helps protect surfaces from accidental contact, and a lock-on trigger switch allows continuous use. Oscillating speed runs from 800 to 2,200 per minute, with a 15.9mm spindle thread.
