About this product
The DeWalt DCS386 18v XR Cordless Brushless FlexVolt Reciprocating Saw is a bare unit supplied with a case but without battery or charger. It has a brushless motor with a crank-type drive train for smoother, more efficient operation and reduced vibration, giving a no-load stroke rate of 0-3,000spm.
Features include an ergonomic handle with rubber overmould, an LED for illumination, a pivoting shoe with an open-top design for stability and visibility, and a keyless lever-action blade clamp for tool-free blade changes. A variable speed trigger with lock-off switch aids control.
FlexVolt Advantage technology lets the tool recognise an XR FlexVolt battery and unlock extra power. Maximum cutting capacities are 300mm for wood, 160mm for PVC, and 130mm for steel sections and pipes. The saw weighs 3.5kg without a battery.
