About this product
The DeWalt DCS389 is a 54v FlexVolt High Power brushless cordless reciprocating saw, supplied as a bare tool with no battery, charger or case. It runs on FlexVolt batteries, also compatible with DeWalt's 18v XR range. The saw is designed to deliver power, extended run-time, reliability and durability comparable to a corded tool, offering up to 19% more power than the earlier DCS388 model.
Features include an intelligent variable speed trigger with lock-off switch, a lever-action keyless blade clamp for tool-free blade changes, and a two-position blade clamp for flush cutting. The pivoting shoe has an open top for stability and visibility, with an integrated LED to improve visibility of the cut-line. The handle has a rubber overmould for comfortable grip.
It weighs 3.54kg, with a stroke length of 29mm and a maximum PVC cutting capacity of 160mm.
