About this product
The Makita JR3061T is a 110v reciprocating saw designed for spark-free cutting of metal and general demolition work. It has a 1250W motor giving a 32mm stroke and no-load speeds of up to 3,000 strokes per minute, with cut capacities of 255mm in wood and 130mm in steel pipe.
A ring and rubber seal keep dust out of the gear room to extend tool life, while a vertical crank design minimises blade deflection, particularly useful when cutting metal. The reinforced shoe adjusts to 5 positions and, like the blade, can be changed without tools.
Other features include a variable speed trigger, LED job light, joist hook, ergonomic soft grip and double insulation. It weighs 3.8kg.
