About this product
The Makita DJR183 is an 18v cordless reciprocating saw for cutting wood, plastic and ferrous metals, suited to site work in tight or confined spaces. Its compact, straight-framed design keeps weight down to around 1.7kg, making it comfortable for overhead or extended use.
A tool-free blade clamp allows quick blade changes by hand, and two separate switches with variable speed control (0–3000 strokes per minute, 13mm stroke length) let it be used from different grip positions. An LED job light with pre-glow illuminates the cutting line, and the shoe is adjustable for cutting depth. Rubberised soft-grip overmoulding is fitted for comfort and control.
Maximum cutting capacity is 50mm in wood and 50mm in steel pipe. Supplied as body only, without battery, charger or case.
