About this product
The Makita DJR185 is an 18v cordless reciprocating saw from the LXT battery platform, suited to cutting wood, metal pipe and general demolition work. It delivers 0-3000 strokes per minute with a 13mm stroke length, giving a cutting capacity of 50mm in wood and 50mm in mild steel pipe.
It features dual switching, with a trigger switch on the handle and a paddle switch on the body, allowing operation from different grip positions. A rubberized soft grip aids control, an adjustable shoe supports stable cutting, and a single LED job light with pre-glow function improves visibility. The saw is compatible with both reciprocating saw blades and jigsaw blades.
Weighing around 1.5-1.8kg, it suits carpenters, plumbers and contractors doing renovation, pipe cutting or dismantling work. Supplied body only, without battery, charger or case.
