About this product
The Makita DJR187 is an 18v cordless brushless reciprocating saw suited to demolition and general cutting tasks. Its brushless motor and newly designed crank mechanism give higher cutting efficiency while keeping the body compact and lightweight. Electronic 2-speed selection runs from 0-2,300 strokes per minute in low to 0-3,000 in high, controlled via the variable speed trigger, with a 32mm stroke length.
It can cut up to 255mm in wood and 130mm in mild steel pipe. Features include tool-less blade changing, tool-less shoe adjustment, an integrated LED job light, electric brake, a lock-off switch and a retractable joist hook, all set on an ergonomic, anti-slip grip handle. Net weight is 3.4-3.8kg.
Supplied with two 18v 5.0Ah LXT Li-ion batteries, a DC18RC fast charger, a carry case, and two 152mm reciprocating saw blades (6TPI and 18TPI).
