About this product
The Makita 9031 is a compact 30mm belt sander suited to precision work in tight spaces and on irregular profiles, useful for furniture restoration, metalwork finishing and detailed joinery. The narrow belt gives good manoeuvrability where wider sanders cannot reach.
It has a variable speed trigger, allowing the belt speed to be matched to the material, along with a lock-on button for extended use and a multi-position side handle for comfort. The tool is double insulated and can be connected to a Makita vacuum cleaner or dust collector.
Specifications include a 550W input, belt speed of 200–1,000m/min, belt size 30 x 533mm, and a weight of 2.1kg. It is supplied with 10 abrasive belts and a side handle, in the 240V version.
