About this product
The Makita BS001G is a 40Vmax XGT cordless brushless belt sander taking a 76 x 533mm belt, suited to demanding sanding tasks. It features automatic belt position adjustment for consistent alignment, an angle-adjustable front handle for comfort, and a lock-on feature for continuous operation. An LED job light with angle adjustment aids visibility in poorly lit areas, and a dust bag with anti-drop feature helps keep the work area clean.
The tool is compatible with Makita's Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS), allowing it to connect via Bluetooth to compatible dust extractors so the extractor runs automatically with the sander. Belt speed ranges from 120 to 470 m/min, and the vacuum connection is 22mm.
Sold as a body only unit without battery or charger, supplied in a Makpac case. Net weight is around 3.8kg, rising to 4.5-5.1kg with a battery fitted.
