About this product
ForgeFix decking screws, size 4.5 x 75mm, supplied in a bulk tub of 1,000. Designed for decking, exterior timber and fencing applications, particularly thicker hardwood boards and heavier installations.
The screws have a hardened, single-thread design that helps prevent boards splitting while allowing for seasonal expansion and contraction, and offers higher pull-out values with quicker insertion. Heads are Pozi compatible, featuring four additional contact points compared to a Phillips head, reducing cam-out and allowing greater torque to be applied when used with the correct driver.
The screws carry a green, 1,000 hour anti-corrosion treatment, giving resistance to corrosion when used with ACQ (Alkaline Copper Quaternary) treated timber.
