About this product

These 8x360mm wafer head construction screws are designed for fixing into softwood or hardwood, suited to extreme-depth structural work such as thick timber connections and large beam assemblies. Supplied in a tub of 20, they feature a deep Torx compatible T40 insert for reduced cam-out and firmer drive, plus a wafer head that sits flush for a neat finish. A super sharp tip gives immediate bite from the first turn, and the patented self-drilling thread removes the need to pre-drill, reducing the risk of splitting even close to timber edges. A hardened case and core provide strength, while the screws can flex up to 35° to reduce shearing in flexible materials and resist pull-out. Finished in tan elementech 2000 coating, offering corrosion resistance up to 30 times longer than standard zinc coated screws. CE approved for load-bearing timber construction.
