About this product

These ForgeFix wafer head construction screws (8 x 300mm, pack of 25) are designed for fixing into softwood or hardwood, suited to extreme-depth structural work such as thick beams and heavy-duty framing. The wafer head sits flush with the timber surface, while the deep T40 Torx-compatible insert gives higher torque and reduces cam-out during driving. A super sharp tip provides immediate bite, and the patented self-drilling thread removes the need to pre-drill while reducing the risk of splitting near edges. The hardened case and core give strength, and the screws can flex up to 35°, lowering the risk of shearing in flexible materials. Finished in tan elementech 2000 for corrosion resistance, said to outlast standard zinc coatings by up to 30 times. CE approved for load-bearing timber construction.
