ForgeFast wood screws, 4.0 x 70mm, supplied in a box of 100. Designed for heavy structural timber, substantial floor joists and thick framework where extra penetration depth is needed alongside strong holding power.

The screws have a universally accepted Pozi-compatible drive with six underhead lobes for improved countersinking and less surface dust, plus a reinforced countersunk neck for extra holding power. An anti-friction thread reduces timber splitting, jacking and spinning, while the serrated thread improves pull-out resistance and lowers insertion torque. A double cutting point speeds up drilling, reduces dust clogging and can pierce 0.8mm steel.

Finished with Elementech 400 coating, giving anti-corrosive protection said to last up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings. The coating is Cr6+ free and salt spray tested to 400 hours. Suitable for interior use.
