ForgeFix ForgeFast TORX® Compatible Elite Performance Wood Screw ZY 5.0 x 100mm Box 100 FFT5100Y

ForgeFast 5.0 x 100mm Torx-compatible wood screws, supplied in a box of 100 with a compatible bit included. The size suits heavy-duty structural work, such as fixing timber through insulation to masonry or making robust timber frame connections, with the diameter giving strong holding power and resistance to shear forces.

A patented drill and drive thread cuts its own path through timber, reducing splitting, jacking and spinning of joined components while improving pull-out resistance. Reinforced countersunk necks with recessed ribs aid countersinking and cut surface dust, and the sharp point can pierce 0.8mm steel.

The screws carry an Elementech 400 coating, an anti-corrosive, Cr6+-free finish said to last up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings and salt spray tested to 400 hours. Intended for interior use.
