About this product

These 7 x 65mm ForgeFast timber screws come in a green tub of 50, suited to lighter structural timber work such as decking boards, small timber frames and batten fixings. They have a combination hexagonal head with a deep Torx-compatible insert, reducing cam-out and giving higher torque and a firmer drive, with a super sharp tip for immediate bite. A patented self-drilling thread removes the need to pre-drill and reduces the chance of splitting, even near edges. The hardened case and core give strength, while flexing up to 35° helps prevent shearing in flexible materials. The green elementech 2000 surface treatment offers corrosion resistance said to last up to 30 times longer than standard zinc coating, and the screws are CE approved for load-bearing timber construction.
