About this product

ForgeFast 7 x 65mm timber screws with a tan elementech 2000 finish, supplied in a tub of 50. Suitable for fixing into soft or hardwood, this shorter length suits lighter-duty applications such as decking, fence panels and lightweight timber frames. They feature a combination hexagonal head with a deep Torx®-compatible insert, reducing cam-out and giving higher torque and a firmer drive. The sharp tip provides immediate bite, while the self-drilling thread removes the need for pre-drilling and reduces the risk of splitting near edges. The hardened case and core provide strength and resistance to pull-out, and the screws can flex up to 35° to reduce shearing in flexible materials. The finish offers corrosion resistance up to 30 times longer than standard zinc coating, and the screws are CE approved for load-bearing timber construction.
