About this product

These ForgeFix ForgeFast Hexagonal/Torx® Compatible timber screws measure 7 x 250mm and come in a tub of 40, the longest option in the range. They suit specialist structural work such as securing thick timbers and large-scale timber frame construction where extreme penetration depth is needed. The combination hexagonal head with deep Torx®-compatible insert gives higher torque transfer and reduces cam-out. A super sharp tip provides immediate bite, and the patented self-drilling thread removes the need for pre-drilling while reducing the risk of splitting near edges. Hardened case and core construction gives strength, with the screws able to flex to reduce shearing risk in flexible materials. The green elementech 2000 finish offers long-lasting corrosion resistance, and the screws are CE approved for load-bearing timber construction.
