About this product

ForgeFast 7mm x 250mm Hexagonal/Torx compatible timber screws, supplied in a tub of 40, suited to fixing into soft or hardwood. This maximum length option is intended for heavy-duty structural applications such as thick timber sections, major beams and multi-layered assemblies where deep penetration and strong holding power are needed. The combination hexagonal head with deep Torx-compatible insert reduces cam-out and gives higher torque and a firmer drive. A super sharp tip provides immediate bite, and the patented self-drilling thread removes the need to pre-drill and lowers the risk of splitting near edges. The screws can flex up to 35°, reducing the likelihood of shearing. The tan elementech 2000 coating gives corrosion resistance up to 30 times greater than standard zinc-coated screws, and the screws are CE approved for use in load-bearing timber construction.
