About this product
The Makita DHR280 is a cordless SDS Plus rotary hammer drill powered by two 18v Li-ion batteries working together to drive a 36v brushless motor. Brushless design gives longer run time per charge, less maintenance and less heat during prolonged use. It offers three modes: rotary drilling for wood, plastic and steel, rotary hammer drilling for concrete, and hammer-only for chiselling.
Features include anti-vibration technology, an electric brake, forward/reverse rotation, an LED job light, variable speed control and a soft no-load function that reduces motor speed while idling to cut vibration.
Capacities include up to 28mm in concrete (54mm with TCT core, 65mm with diamond core), 13mm in steel and 32mm in wood, with an impact rate of 0-5,000bpm and no-load speed of 0-980rpm. Supplied with side handle, depth stop, bit grease and a Makpac case, but no batteries or charger.
