About this product
The Makita HR166D is a 12V Max CXT cordless brushless SDS Plus rotary hammer drill, supplied as a bare unit without battery, charger or case. It offers two modes of operation: rotation only, and rotation with hammering, controlled via a variable speed trigger with forward and reverse rotation.
It features a one-touch sliding chuck for easy bit changes, an electric brake for added safety, and an LED job light. The compact, lightweight design includes a vibration-absorbing housing for control and comfort.
Specifications include a no-load speed of 0-680rpm, impact rate of 0-4,800 impacts per minute, and impact energy of 1.1 joules. Drilling capacities are up to 16mm in concrete, 13mm in wood and 10mm in steel. Weight ranges from 1.8 to 2.4kg. A side handle and depth gauge are included.
