About this product
Dowsil 799 Glaze and Go is a one-part, neutral curing, low modulus silicone sealant in a 310ml cartridge, designed for glazing and weathersealing work. This clear finish is suited to applications where a discreet, invisible seal is wanted, such as glass panels and transparent polycarbonate sheets, and it also adheres well to PVCu and polycarbonate profiles.
The sealant contains a fungicide to resist mould growth in humid conditions, helping keep seals around windows, doors and conservatories clean. It is highly flexible, with a 12 minute skin-over time and tack-free in 18 minutes, and offers good weathering resistance including to ozone, UV radiation and temperature extremes. It conforms to ISO 11600-F&G-25LM.
