About this product
Dowsil 791 is a one-part neutral cure silicone sealant designed for weatherproof sealing on both commercial and domestic projects. In black, it suits dark-coloured frames, guttering and exterior fittings, blending well with dark UPVC, aluminium and composite materials.
The sealant offers strong adhesion to most exterior substrates and good weathering performance, including resistance to ozone, UV radiation and temperature extremes. It has a skin-over time of 20 minutes and becomes tack-free within 45 minutes, allowing reasonably quick application and finishing.
Supplied as a 310ml cartridge for use with standard sealant guns, it conforms to ISO 11600-25LM and meets ISO 9047 class 50 specifications.
