About this product
Dowsil 791T is a one-part neutral cure silicone sealant in a translucent finish, designed for weatherproofing where a discreet, near-invisible seal is wanted. The clear appearance lets the substrate's own colour show through, making it suited to glazing, polycarbonate, acrylic and other transparent materials, for both commercial and domestic use.
It gives strong adhesion to most exterior substrates and resists ozone, UV radiation and temperature extremes. Skin over time is 20 minutes, with a tack-free time of 45 minutes, allowing fairly quick handling. It conforms to ISO 11600-25LM and ISO 9047 class 50, and is supplied in a 310ml cartridge that fits standard sealant guns.
