About this product
Dowsil 791 is a one-part neutral cure silicone sealant designed for weatherproofing, supplied here in a 310ml cartridge in white. It suits both commercial and domestic applications, offering strong adhesion to most exterior substrates and giving a clean, bright finish that colour-matches well with white UPVC windows, doors, cladding and painted surfaces.
The sealant has good weathering properties, including resistance to ozone, UV radiation and temperature extremes, making it suitable for outdoor use. It skins over in around 20 minutes and becomes tack-free after about 45 minutes, allowing reasonably quick handling. It conforms to ISO 11600-25LM and meets ISO 9047 class 50 specifications, and the 310ml cartridge fits standard sealant guns.
