The DEWALT DCB549 XR FlexVolt Slide Battery is a convertible power solution for demanding construction applications, automatically switching between 18V and 54V depending on the tool it is used with. Described as the world's first convertible 18/54V battery, it powers heavy-duty equipment such as large angle grinders, circular saws and breakers while remaining fully compatible with existing DEWALT XR 18V tools.
With a 15.0Ah capacity at 54V (5.0Ah at 18V), it offers extended runtime compared with standard 18V XR 4.0Ah or 5.0Ah batteries, reducing the need for separate battery platforms on site. It uses Li-ion technology, features a slide-on design for secure connection and easy tool changes, and includes an integrated charge indicator for quick status checks.
