About this product

This 18V Power X-Change battery from Einhell can be switched between 8.0Ah for maximum runtime and 5.0Ah for a longer overall service life, making it suitable for anyone using cordless DIY or garden tools within the Power X-Change system. It is compatible with all 18V Power X-Change tools and can also be used in pairs for 36V twin-pack tools. The latest generation lithium-ion cells offer more power output, with PLUS technology providing extra performance for demanding tasks, while resisting memory effect and self-discharge. An active battery management system (ABS) monitors performance and safety via an integrated microprocessor, and charge status can be checked via an LED indicator or digital percentage display, depending on version. The housing is rubberised for impact protection and grip, and resistant to dust and corrosion. Weight is around 1.05kg.
