Vitax SBK Brushwood Killer is a selective, ready-to-use weedkiller for brambles, nettles, dock, woody weeds, hardwood saplings and tree stumps growing in grass or other neglected non-crop areas. It leaves grass unharmed while tackling tough woody vegetation. The active ingredient, Triclopyr, is particularly effective against woody plants and is also used for brush control on rights of way and defoliation of wooded areas, as well as against persistent broadleaf weeds such as Creeping Charlie.

Apply between May and October when soil is moist and weeds are actively growing, with woody weeds best treated June to August. Tree stumps are best treated in autumn or winter, avoiding April to June when sap is rising. Leave at least six weeks between application and replanting. The product is classed as an irritant. Supplied ready to use in a 4 litre pack.
