The DEWALT DCMCS565P1 is an 18V XR cordless brushless chainsaw aimed at professionals who need a ready-to-use tool straight out of the box. It comes complete with a 5.0Ah Li-ion battery and 4A charger, along with a 300mm bar and chain suited to logs up to 250mm in diameter (max cutting length 26cm). The brushless motor offers efficient, low-maintenance performance, while the variable speed trigger removes the need for a pull start and gives greater control during cutting. A top-handle, overmould design improves grip and comfort, with multi-position ergonomic handles to reduce fatigue. Safety and convenience features include a chain brake that stops the chain in under a second, tooled chain tensioning, on-board wrench storage, a visible oil tank gauge, and bumper spikes for control. Maximum chain speed is 7.3 m/s, oil capacity is 215ml, and the tool weighs 2.7kg.
