About this product
The Makita DUC306Z is a cordless top handle chainsaw for trained tree surgeons, powered by two 18V Li-ion batteries in series to drive a powerful 36V DC brushless motor. It offers variable speed control via trigger, a soft start feature, and a torque boost mode that temporarily raises the current limit for faster cutting of thicker branches.
Safety features include an electric chain brake and kickback brake with auto power-off on the main switch. A metal spike bumper and soft grip handle aid control, while captive nuts prevent loss of the nut when removing the sprocket cover to change the guide bar or chain.
Specification: 300mm bar, 3/8in chain pitch, 0.043in chain gauge, chain speed 0-20m/s. Supplied as a bare unit with saw chain, guide bar and guide bar cover, without batteries or charger.
