About this product
Bondloc B542 is a thixotropic hydraulic sealant that cures anaerobically to form a tough, high-pressure seal on threaded couplings used on low, medium and high-pressure lines. It suits valves, threaded couplings, adaptors and quick disconnect parts, and can also be used for vibration-proofing joints and compression fittings. The formula resists dripping during application.
Supplied in a compact 10ml bottle, this size suits toolboxes and mobile maintenance work, occasional repairs and smaller jobs where a portable amount is preferred.
Technical data: brown dimethacrylate resin, fixture speed without activator 10–20 minutes, full cure in 12 hours, operating temperature range -55°C to +150°C, shelf life 2 years at 20°C.
