About this product
This pack of 10 DEWALT Extreme 2 metal drill bits is made from high-speed steel for drilling steel, alloyed and non-alloyed, up to 900N/mm, and also works well in wood and plastic. They suit portable or stationary drilling, particularly on sheet or thin materials where accurate, burr-free holes are needed. A patented split pilot point design stops the bit walking or slipping on contact, giving accurate hole placement, while precision-ground flutes aid chip removal and reduce friction and heat build-up. Three flat sides prevent slipping in the chuck, a tapered web reduces breakage, and a gold ferrous oxide coating helps prevent overheating. Permanent size markings above the shank aid visibility. Each bit measures 3.2mm in diameter, with a 36mm working length and 65mm overall length.
