About this product
This pack of 10 DEWALT Extreme 2 metal drill bits is designed for portable or stationary drilling of steel, alloyed and non-alloyed, up to 900N/mm. They are particularly suited to drilling sheet or thin materials where accurate, burr-free holes are needed, and are also effective in wood and plastic. The patented split point tip eliminates walking or slipping on contact, giving precise hole placement, while the tapered web construction reduces breakage. A gold ferrous oxide coating helps prevent overheating, extending bit life. Three flat sides on the shank stop the bit slipping in the chuck, and precision-ground flutes aid chip removal. Permanent size markings above the shank keep sizes visible. Each bit has a tip diameter of 3.5mm, a working length of 39mm and an overall length of 70mm.
