The Dormer A002 is a metric HSS jobber drill bit with a Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating, designed for accurate, efficient drilling. It features a pointed web and fluted tip that reduces axial force, aids centring and improves chip evacuation, while the optimised helix angle adds stiffness across the diameter range. The TiN coating resists flank and crater wear and lowers friction, allowing increased cutting speeds and reduced heat buildup, giving longer tool life. The bright body finish improves cutting performance on ductile materials, and a 118° point angle suits both hand-held and machine drilling. This bit measures 13.00mm in diameter, with a working length of 101mm and an overall length of 151mm, supplied singly in a pouch pack.
