About this product
This DEWALT Extreme Masonry Drill Bit is designed for drilling into masonry, brick, stone, tiles and light concrete, typically for anchors, plastic plugs, fixings or pipework clearance holes. It has a diameter of 12mm, an overall length of 200mm and a working length of 150mm.
The bit uses an optimum carbide grade for durability, with a unique tip design that reduces walking and improves accuracy. An optimised milled flute supports fast drilling, while copper brazing withstands high temperatures. Compared with a standard masonry bit, it is said to last up to twice as long and deliver up to 50% more holes per charge on a cordless drill.
The hardened steel body includes core reinforcement and a large-volume machined spiral for strength and drilling progress, along with an anti-slip shank.
