This 14mm Forstner bit from Faithfull suits medium-sized drilling tasks such as larger dowel joints, recessed bolt heads and mounting plate installations, making it useful for kitchen fitting, worktop joints and general carpentry work.
It is made from forged, hardened steel for durability, with an ultra-sharp spur that keeps the bit accurate and stops it walking on the material. The steep, angled cutting edges create smooth, flat-bottomed holes and chisel-like curls for clean chip removal, while the centre point helps with straight, angled and overlapping holes.
