This is a 12mm HSS jobber drill bit from Faithfull's Long Series, supplied as a single piece with an overall length of 205mm and a working length of 134mm. The extended length suits deep drilling applications where standard-length bits would not reach far enough, such as thick metal sections or structural engineering work. Manufactured from M2 grade steel and fully ground to DIN 338 standards, the bit features a 135-degree non-slip split point for accurate hole starting. Its robust construction is designed to reduce breakage while improving penetration. It is suitable for use in alloy steels, carbon steels, cast iron, hardened alloy steels and stainless steels.
