About this product
This Faithfull HSS taper drill bit is designed for drilling sheet materials up to 2mm thick. Made from high speed steel, it can produce a hole of any diameter between 6mm and 20mm without needing to change bits, making it useful for sheet metal work, electrical enclosures and fabrication tasks requiring various hole sizes. The bit has an 8mm shank for secure fitting in standard drill chucks. Use of a cutting fluid is advisable to reduce friction and heat, particularly with harder materials or larger diameters. As with any sharp cutting tool, eye protection should be worn and the workpiece secured before drilling, using the recommended speed to avoid overheating or damage.
